Kingdom Trails – Hiking at the Inn at Mountain View Farm
Marilyn Pastore, the owner of the Inn at Mountain View Farm, was the founding president of Kingdom Trails in the early 1990’s. She was a prime mover in re-creating East Burke, Vermont as a New England sports village featuring mountain biking and hiking, and x/country skiing and fat biking in winter. Over the last 30 years, Kingdom Trails has grown dramatically and is now recognized as one of the best mountain biking trail systems in the United States.
The Inn at Mountain View Farm’s 440 acres sit in the middle of the system and is the geographic heart of Kingdom Trails. Guests of the Inn have free access to the trails at all times. After a vigorous day of riding on the trails, guests can relax in an Adirondack chair around a fire pit behind the Inn or next door at the Handlebar biergarten where they can savor a Vermont artisan brew.
